Are you between the ages of 12 and 18 and want to learn about the exciting world of Aviation?  Then Youth Aviation Adventure is the program for you!

Learn about Aerodynamics, Airport Operations, Careers in Aviation, Instrument Panels, Navigation, How to Pre-flight a real airplane, Build an FPG-9 Glider, and even test your aviation knowledge in a game of Aviation In-the-Know!

If you are a Boy Scout, completing the program will complete all the requirements needed for the Aviation Merit Badge.  If you are a Girl Scout, completing this program completes many requirements for Girl Scout Badges as well.

Currently, the YAA program “Columbus Squadron” has a pool of over one hundred pilots and other adult volunteers who offer their expertise as discussion leaders. Several pilots provide their own aircraft as teaching aids, and the Fairfield County Airport provides hangars, classrooms, and ramp space.

Registration will be available soon!  Please check back.
